Refrigeration professionals must know that the knowledge lies here
1. Water/fluorine system central air conditioning
Water system
Water system central air conditioning refers to the air conditioning system in which water or water solution is used as the heat transfer medium, and the cooling or heating load of the room is completely borne by water. Since the terminal device of the all-water air conditioning system is a fan coil unit, the all-water air conditioning system is also called the all-water fan coil unit system. In the industry, it is often simply referred to as "water machine".
Fluorine system
In fluorine system central air conditioning, the cooling or heating load of the room is entirely borne by fluorine medium. This type of system is also known as a fluorine machine. The most common one is the variable-frequency one-to-many system, which is also the type widely used in ordinary households.
2. Refrigeration compressor
The refrigeration compressor is one of the core components of the refrigeration system.
3. Refrigerant (coolant, refrigerant)
In a refrigeration system, the circulating working medium is called the refrigerant, also known as the refrigerating medium. It circulates among the various components of the system, achieving energy conversion and transfer. Specifically, the refrigeration machine releases heat to the high-temperature heat source and simultaneously absorbs heat from the low-temperature heat source, thereby achieving the purpose of refrigeration.
ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) : Based on the CFC-11 value of 1.000, it is used to indicate the extent to which a refrigerant has the potential to consume atmospheric ozone molecules.
GWP (Greenhouse Effect Index) : It is an indicator value that measures the extent to which refrigerants affect global warming. In the early stage, the value of CFC-11 was selected as the benchmark value 1.0, which was called HGWP. In recent years, people have taken 100 years of CO as the benchmark and set the greenhouse effect potential value of CO at 1.0, which is called GWP or GWP100.
Common refrigerants: Common refrigerants include R22, R410A, R404A, R32, R290, R744, R717, etc. It should be noted that different refrigerants must not be mixed; otherwise, it may cause serious damage to the system.
4. Concepts related to subcooling and superheat
Subcooled temperature: It refers to the temperature of the subcooled liquid that has been cooled to a temperature lower than the saturation temperature before throttling.
Subcooling degree: It is the difference between the subcooling temperature and the temperature of the saturated liquid corresponding to its pressure.
Subcooling cycle: A cycle with liquid subcooling is called a liquid subcooling cycle.
Superheat temperature: The temperature at which the compressor sucks in superheated refrigerant vapor that is higher than the saturation temperature corresponding to its pressure.
